*I need the date for the NCAA Game
If you know the date of the Michigan game, it was 2 days before that date..... actually 9 days before the Final 4 loss to Marquette.

Syracuse was ranked something like 5th in the nation and we dominated the entire game.

USF was pretty stout in the 1980s. Along with UAB, they dominated the Sun Belt throughout most of that decade.

Hal Wissel was in charge with the note cards along the sideline. Need I add anything else?

I bet 95% of the sports fans in Charlotte would be surprised to find out we are almost .500 against the Big East teams................ including most of our alumni and students.

That's a problem......... and a major one.

QFT!

prbly 99% though.
Since I started following Charlotte in 2006, I have never seen the 49ers make an NCAA tournament. I hope one day that will change.

the only thing that caught me off guard was USF's 1980s ownage of us.  things look really good against the big east and the acc compared to the rest of the BcS conferences.

I thought our record against Cincy was better.  Guess that's what I get for thinking...

There should be a lot more from UL in the '80's, shouldn't there?
CHP sold out.  I declare Nick McEntyre our Chancellor-In-Exile!

No. We only became "league-mates" with Louisville in 1991-92 (Metro Conf.).

So, we have a winning record against the conference considered by MOST to be the best basketball conference?  Not bad.
