We are in serious need of an agreement with the Spartans. Seriously.

Regent Chairman: This is not a football vocational school. It's an institute for higher learning.
Coach Winters: Yeah, but when was the last time 80,000 people showed up to watch a kid do a damn chemistry experiment?

Aren't Izzo and Lutz buds too?
Since I started following Charlotte in 2006, I have never seen the 49ers make an NCAA tournament. I hope one day that will change.

The media guide lists another game vs the Illini. I had to check because thats make us even with them and thats the other "team" in my house.

They did the Iraq tour thing together.  And Izzo has said numerous times that he'll play anybody anywhere.  I think it's been discussed but never worked out with scheduling but that could just be wishful thinking.

I don't think you have it calculated in the totals, but what many of us consider our biggest win of all time was against a Big Ten School.  I'm talking about the 1977 Regional Final over Michigan.

Doubt Izzo would come to Halton, if anything we would have to 2 for 1 with them with ours being at TWC.

I'd take that in a heartbeat.  We have no room to be picky.  I'd love to see a matchup with the other green and white team

Doesn't Izzo only recruit the area right around MSU?  I don't know that he would really want to play in NC that much.

You'd be surprised.  We'd have to do a 2 for 1, but he'd come to Halton...I would bet.  He's not quite so "demanding" as some other coaches.  Although, he could always ask Tom Crean what it was like playing in Halton which may hurt our case a bit

Looks like a good working relationship between the Hoosiers and Niners has developed.  Been tough to knock IU off through the years though.
