Will be interesting to see how their punishment compares to Chapel Hill, as their charges came out almost at the same time and SM is charged with less severe allegations.

I think all of us are thinking the same thing.  Maybe the ncaa will explain that when you take Southern Miss's death penalty and combine it with chapel hill's almost non-existent penalty, the average is a substantial penalty.

Ah ha, I knew there had to be some logic to the ways of the NCAA. Thank you for explaining it.  ;D

Anything about USM FB that carries over to Fedora at UNC-CH?

We self-imposed no NCAA Tourneys for 10 years.  Take that USM!
CHP sold out.  I declare Nick McEntyre our Chancellor-In-Exile!

JFelt quote about CHP.  "Stake your claim.  As long as UNC-CH doesn't want it first."

Three former assistant coaches also received severe penalties. One was hit with an eight-year show cause, one has a seven-year penalty and the other was six years. Southern Miss also must vacate all wins in which the ineligible athletes participated and will lose four addition scholarships over the next three seasons.

Well, Tyndall can appeal all he wants.  His college coaching days are over.
