Bumping bc Judy sold out a solid basketball conference affiliation for FBS football, only to then install the worst FBS program in the country.

Her response? Manage your expectations of her performance.

Thomas Barth, the Director of the MPA Program at UNCC(the academic acronym), is the father of Chicago Bears' kicker Connor Barth. Connor went to high school at Hoggard in Wilmington and college at UNC-CH, where we hope he went to classes that met and required tests.

Dr. Barth went to Notre Dame and played intramural football there. They wear helmets and pads and tackle each other. He taught at UNCW and headed their MPA program for many years.

Maybe Connor can work with the kickers at dad's new school. Brother Casey kicked for UNC-CH, too.

From Underdog Dynasty:
UTEP and Charlotte are eliminated from bowl eligibility

In a surprise to no one, UTEP and Charlotte lost over the weekend and are now 0-7 each. The Miners won’t go bowling for the third straight season. Charlotte’s only been in the FBS since 2015 but have yet to finish .500 or better.

The Miners played Southern Miss tough, but still can’t seem to muster any offense, gaining just 147 yards. UTEP lost 24-0 on the road.

Charlotte proved to be just what WKU needed to fix their offense as the 49ers were blown out 45-14. Charlotte’s final games are UAB, at Old Dominion, Middle Tennessee, at Southern Miss, and FAU.

UTEP’s final games are UTSA, at Middle Tennessee, at North Texas, La Tech, and at UAB. Earlier this week I said the odds of both teams going winless aren’t high, but from looking at UTEP’s schedule it looks like Charlotte has the better chance of picking up the win. But from watching Charlotte play, it’s hard to see the 49ers picking up a win.

I hate to see teams go winless, but it feels like UTEP and Charlotte are on their way of doing just that. Three Things We Learned From Conference USA in Week Seven

The White football jersey is now in the bookstore! If only we could get soccer jerseys, basketball jerseys, and baseball jerseys wouldn't that be nice...

clt asks which white one?

We cannot have nice things because our fans are bad and complain about prices.
4ever niner has no Barnes & Noble stock and will not pay bookstore prices.

I know everybody on here would have loved to have had football as a student.

But good on the students for not having blind loyalty.

The AD does have to earn their attendance. Many of us go to basketball despite the years of terrible results. Unfortunately we enable the AD.  Look at ECU. Have 2000 people in a 60000 seat stadium a couple weekend and the fire gets hotter under a great many people.
