I use Twitter and facebook quite a bit to track guys and sports in general.  Spears is pretty open about this feelings and things he's doing.  Difficult to interpret sometimes.  He was not in favor of new coach when immediately announced but now says he and the team is good to go.  For some reason, he refers to himself as the CEO.

Doesn't really make a damn what Spears thinks.  He can either stay or quit- he's one and done here or nowhere, unless of course he goes D2.

It does makes a difference what all players think. If we want them to be sucessful, they need to be a team working together as one for our new coach. From what I have read and heard from them, including Shamari they are doing just that. Naturally losing a coach they signed under was a devastating loss and it takes time to adjust, and for some the process is longer than others. Players have a right to express their feelings. They are adjusting well and we should not interfere during the process of adjustment by speculating and making comments about players and their feelings. Coach Major is in control!

I don't see Spears liking the idea of a defense-first team.

Which of our players would you expect would like a defense-first team?

Well if you're not good at offense, you've got to specialize in something.  :p

In his defense, Jones is the block leader.

I'd be more suprised at the thought of Green liking a D first philosophy.

Trevin Parks was a walk on and I think was leaving before even Lutz was released. Had some scholarship offers out of HS and wasn't guaranteed one under Lutz. Already had made decision to go somewhere he could play more.

No idea but I think it was done maybe even before season was over. As for JB, I assume Javarris.

I assume that letting Parks leaves means that Major feels like we can bring in a reserve point guard.  I get the impression that Lutz brought in a lot of people on promises he couldn't always (and shouldn't always) fulfill.  Hopefully that ends with our new coach.

With Andersen and Dewhurst gone JB and Sirin should see their minutes doubled.
