STUDENT FEES are not affected by the new tax laws, so Phil and Judy need not be concerned.

Danmmm...well done 40!

Judy needs to ask her own CPA if the $300,000 she made this year is reportable income since she stole every dime of it.

Had a friend try to donate the week of Christmas....was told that the department was closed until after the new year for the most part unless the person wanted to donate online.

Wow. Not really surprised at this point, but wow.

The person is a bit older so tried to stop by in person to discuss.  He wasn't upset but just kind of like oh well.  He saw now as an opportunity to move up standing in the Athletic Foundation while everyone is pissed off and save on taxes.

Also saw on the CUSA site that most of the schools sent out emails urging donors to give before the end of the year for the tax savings and the donation would be applied toward 2018 standings.  Very smart.  I received nothing from Charlotte.

I guess you are right.  I don't blame the guys in the Athletic Foundation.  I have always had good experiences with all the staff there.  I am sure they are just working the schedule they are expected to.  Most of us would do the same.

Most non-profits would be wise enough to have someone staffed to take the incoming calls at the end of the year.  A few years ago, I had to call in a donation to Judy's department on 12/31 when their online processing was down.

Then again, they probably heard enough of us saying that we are withholding further funding, so they went home.

Yet another reason to #firejudyrose.

Don't they usually send an e-mail saying to call them before Dec. 19-22 for a donation?   ;D
CHP sold out.  I declare Nick McEntyre our Chancellor-In-Exile!

JFelt quote about CHP.  "Stake your claim.  As long as UNC-CH doesn't want it first."

Our foundation closed from Christmas to the new year?

These folks do realize they arenít faculty correct?

Another pathetic example of the lack of leadership in our AD.
