If they were to actually drop Jerry's name off it?

Phil Dubois "You don't give us enough money to be allowed to have an opinion on any of this, so give me a big check or piss off" Stadium.

At this rate, not a single stadium/arena/building is going to be named after anyone in 10 years.. Everyone famous with money will have been accused of something by that point.

I fully expect to see her name on softball's new indoor practice facility, considering the low grade, kick in the balls, anti-baseball stunt she pulled to get it built.

Stanford University is safe. It was named for Leland Stanford, Jr., the son of a California businessman who made a fortune off the miners during the Gold Rush. Leland Junior died young, before he could transgress sufficiently to require renaming the university.

Maybe the Stadium can remain Richardson Stadium if another Richardson who has given to the school can be found. Jerry would appreciate that. He's going to remain a billionaire.

Wofford just opened Jerry Richardson Indoor Stadium last month, so it's on their minds too - not to mention his signature prominently displayed on the hardwood!

Here's going for Mac Everett Stadium, or some shout out to FSL holders. They could really quiet some of us down.

Judy should be thanking her lucky stars big cat did this. Gonna be real hard for us to get Judy convo on the radio/in the media this week

I can't say that I've ever read a naming rights contract. I wonder if there is some kind of morality clause? If so, I can't imagine the $ would be refundable to the bad actor.

Well they found one. To the tune of multiple paid settlements.

I give Big Cat the benefit of the doubt.  The things he has done outweigh any negative.  This story probably outed to leverage the team sale.

You can stay mad.

Yes they can.  Sometimes it is easier to fork over a little cash in order to save yourself a lot of aggravation.

I assume itís paid over a term and if we drop the name we forfeit future money.

I'm not calling anyone out, but before you defend JR, I HIGHLY suggest reading the article.  I appreciate all he's done for this region, but this stuff is pretty damning.

I agree settlements don't always indicate guilt... I think that is not the case here.

The fact he is selling the team 3 days after the allegations came out tells you all you need to know.

Hes 81 not 51.

i feel like some statute of limitations comes into play here for me personally.  When he was 60 did he make a comment about a nice butt in jeans?  scandalous... Did he make a bonafide racist comment?  no way.

Its well documented he lifts people up.  But he expects hard work, ask his kids he fired.  Nothing can tarnish Jerry Richaedson to me.  We are psl holders from 1995 and my best family moments with my pop and kids are because of Jerry.

To borrow Dubois favorite phrase, body of work matters.
