It's pretty obvious to me Louisville should have offered strippers for all students not just athletes.
Andy Staples of Sports Illustrated  agrees!

There’s a lesson here, Louisville. Next time, take the money you would have wasted on billable hours for an appeal and buy strippers for all your students. That way, the athletes won’t be receiving an extra benefit. The banners you have yet to win will never come down.

Also note, not sure that was the year, but the Sun Belt was exceptionally strong. The Western Kentucky teams for example had big front lines.... there was a year there where the Sun Belt was probably at the current days level of say the AAC level.
Yep. Sun Belt had three NCAA tourney teams in 84-85 - VCU (auto bid) and ODU and UAB as at large entrants.

And the 85-86 season was even better with four SBC members dancing - Jacksonville (champs) plus ODU, UAB and WKU.

Good call not to forget about Abrams he was an excellent player undersize who gave it his all.

Hinton may of made a few 1st team freshmen all-american lists.  He was a big deal.

Let me understand the situation. No show classes are academically OK, but having strippers perform (which has not a damned thing to do with academics) makes players ineligible. Its obvious to me that Roy has some pictures of NCAA officials doing stuff that you don't want photographed.

Lambert needs to go no matter the result this year. Adkins should take a job elsewhere because he will be unemployed Dec 2018.
I agree, as a coach myself if I knew my coach was a lame duck coach I'd be looking around too. They have families to provide for and he's gotta do what is best for him. It's before spring ball so not totally late in the game so I'm ok with the timing.

This is worse than letting Bobby reach the final year of his contract.

Coach Lambert is a really nice guy, but there's a reason most coaches are not allowed to maintain their job after a one win season.  Our AD invited things like this upon the football program.  I'm glad Judy is gone, but the fact that our 2nd assistant (Henry too) is now openly looking for outside employment is about as shocking as water being wet.

I sincerely hope that Lambert serves us up a huge slice of crow, and nobody on planet earth will be happier to eat it than myself, but just like we said all through the Judy saga, we have to stop operating like Mayberry if we intend to compete.
If Lambert wins 6 games this year, I will gladly eat two full helpings of crow. However, I do not see that happening.

I wonder since apparently so many schools are implicated in the FBI probe, all of whom appear to be blue bloods from what insiders are saying how this could tip the balance of power in college basketball.
Obviously this sanction is tough on Louisville and will affect them. Interested to see what they'll get in addition to this with FBI stuff.
