Letting Wally go is puzzling. The D I thought played pretty well when looked at in correlation with time on the field. Any insight on this 2k?

Them being fired has me worried that Lambert will return.

My thoughts also.  Plus, when they let go of position coaches and coordinators like this, it generally means that the head coach is staying.  It's his last ditch effort to save his own job.

Could they all be gone but there is just a contractual issue with others they have to sort out first?

If you have to fire both the OC and DC at the same time, thatís probably a pretty good indication that you should just fire the HC.

Insane. Wallerstedt would be only thing we would lose if Lambert was fired. To let Wally go and keep Lambert, well we now have the worst case scenario.

Horrible.

We thought it would be impossible to have a coaching staff that was inferior to the one we had this year, #firejudyrose shows us again that there is always a lower bottom to which we can sink.

Awful.

Lambert staying just plain out sucks. Boring, bland and does not work hard at recruiting the Charlotte metro area.

Anyone know any good OC or DC candidates? Please tell them to write a nice cover letter about their childhood upbringing and make sure it stands out when viewed on a kitchen floor.

"This has been a profoundly disappointing season for our team, department and fans," said Rose. "We have to win games, plain and simple. With that said, coach Lambert and I have been in constant communication throughout this season. Coach Lambert is fully invested in making necessary changes to strengthen our program and has been looking at every facet: on- and off-field personnel, playing styles and schemes, and recruiting philosophies. Last year, we took a step forward. This year, we did not continue that trajectory but I am confident in coach Lambert's ability to continue to lead us."

"It's important to remember that we took the quickest possible path into FBS play," added Dubois.  "When the opportunity to compete beginning in 2015 in Conference USA presented itself as a result of conference realignments, that was an opportunity that we simply couldn't pass up and that virtually all of our fan base supported with enthusiasm. But it certainly presented its own set of challenges for Coach Lambert and his players. We are very disappointed by this recently-completed season, to be sure, but we support Brad as he moves the program forward."

UAB drops football for two years and wins 7 games.  Hope they managed expectations.

I managed my expectations on Saturday, by not feeling like driving almost an hour to see a crappy product when I could watch the end of OSU-Mich & the beginning of Bama-Auburn.
CHP sold out.  I declare Nick McEntyre our Chancellor-In-Exile!

JFelt quote about CHP.  "Stake your claim.  As long as UNC-CH doesn't want it first."

Taylor Swift, Jewel, Katy Perry, SE Cupp, Jennifer Garner, Gwen Stefani, Jessica Alba, & Eva Mendes are my Baby Mama's.

The move to FBS should not be an excuse anymore.  Unless I am mistaken we have had 4 recruiting cycles knowing the move to FBS was inevitable.  I think it is a BS excuse.  What a Mickey Mouse Athletic Department.

Coach Wally is probably best coach on staff...lost his job b/c OC and HC are below par. We will most likely be right back here this time next year saying the same type things.

Coach Wally is being used as a scapegoat IMO.

This is slight of hand play.  "Look how we change our staff" and they really are buying time.  Everyone knows it won't help win 1 game.

UNCC is the only FBS school in NCAA that promotes losing within.  Salaries of $250k for AD on up to $600,000k for fball, hoops, chancellor.  All paid on the backs of kids financing debt fees.  Dubois just got 50k raise !!

There is never accountability or scrutiny that us alumni face day to day at our jobs to PRODUCE!  Results matter outside university land. Hence the mass and much deserved anger

Our defense compared to the rest of the units looked good but was far from anything to brag about. I wanted the whole staff gone so Iím not upset the DC was let go. We were 1-11 for crying out loud!
