ECU has a 4:30 press conference to announce his resignation according to several sources. 

They have coaches that actually just quit while we give ours an extension.

Lebo has probably done as well there as anyone can without paying the players in cash while they're in the layup line.

ECU has gone to the NCAA Tournament twice, in 1972 and in 1993. They ended both those seasons with losing records.

There's an indifference to basketball that's very hard to overcome. Their fans live and die for football and baseball.

given their conference situation vs ours, they have a better chance of being what we once were than we do imo.

Given that 227/351 teams have reached the tournament since we have, taking the field isn't saying much.
