Still got to graduate and get a real job.
Since I started following Charlotte in 2006, I have never seen the 49ers make an NCAA tournament. I hope one day that will change.

Well you either have to hope we DON'T sell all the Green FSL's before then or wait till the 1st stadium expansion.

Wish we could offer an incentive for FSL's, like one free season ticket for mens basketball per FSL as a bonus for your purchase/support.

And if you already have them, make a pool of those tickets for charity.

You might be able to workout a package buy type of thing where you got 100 dollars off of a second FSL after you buy the first- or maybe a 2 for 1900 plan- might encourage some buyers to jump in for another one  (not saying these numbers are what they should use, but lets debate the principle of the idea)

I know this is a little off-topic but I wish they would give a free Charlotte 49er window-cling when you purchase any parking pass

I just got my FSL fund raiser package in the mail last week.

I ordered 8 sets of tickets for the NCAA Tourney we are hosting this year.  Last time we hosted the Sweet 16, I sold my allotment and made PLENTY of cash to cover a couple of FSL's.

If all goes just as well this time....I will pony up for a couple.

Maybe others can do the same....use the FSL Fund Raiser Pkg!!!!!

I belong to the Athletic Foundation and I have season tickets for basketball because I hate pros and love college.  I just bought 2 FSLs.  I have no background to UNCC.  I really like college sports.  I understand that many of you ar facing hard times right now.  However there are many out there who do not support the school they graduated from.  Those of you who can afford either  green or gold, get off your couches and buy today.  I spend more money supporting UNCC than theschool I grad from.  6% support of your school does not cut it.  My school gets 46% support.  Can you imagine what would happen at UNCC with 46% support.

However there are many out there who do not support the school they graduated from.

Most of those people don't visit this messageboard, or don't know this messageboard exists.  You're preaching to the choir.  There are several others on here that simply can't buy them right now because of their job situation.  The U needs to do more stuff in the Charlotte area and they need to reach out to as many alums as they can to try to get them interested.  A postcard is not enough.  My guess is that 85% of die hard fans already have 1-2 FSL's, and the 15% that don't simply can't afford to do it right now.  There are a few folks on here that have purchased them knowing they won't be able to attend the games seeing as they don't live here.  Now that's commitment.  So long as the Ath. Dept. gives the appearance that there will be tickets available without having to buy an FSL for the first few seasons, then many will hold out and buy season tickets and not purchase an FSL.
I hope you will support who we are, not who we are not. - Coach Norman Dale in Hoosiers

Buying your full allotment of NCAA Tix and then selling them on EBay for enough profit to cover the FSL purchase.

Bought my 3rd this week.  Pretty excited.

Put a large down payment towards 4 FSL's last week....that I will pay off before the June 30 Seat Assignment cutoff.

Can anyone get an official update on where the FSL numbers are now that we have a FBS home in CUSA???

Broke down and bought two more so I'll have five total.   I have 3 kids and I have no idea if all 3 will be interested in going as they grow up or not.  Naturally I won't give them a choice until they are at least 15.   ;D

What sold it for me is I want these to be generational.  Something I hand down to my kids and them to their's, etc.  Plus, if they don't want to go, I'll have some available to take friends.

Really stoked for the first kickoff.

Can you please expand on this a little bit?

I graduated December '11 and I've only been employed full time now since late January.  I definitely plan on buying a couple of FSL's but I was going to wait a little bit to get my capital up a little more before dropping the 2 G's.  Are you saying that after June 30 of this year, I won't be able to pick my seats any longer?
