Thanks Mike P!
Ah Hell. In years past, I could retort with "looking for the Observer? Start at the bottom of journalism" Nowadays, MOST of what passes itself off as journalism is as bad as the local rag.

This is the type of press we need right now. This is a good thing. At good programs the media ousts people who aren't getting the job done. I'm sending him a thank you.

“We have no control over all that,” Lambert said. “It’s our job to change the perception of our program. Our performance on the field can change all of that.”

No, Brad. You do have control over "all that."  It is 100% in our control as to whether we blow a winnable EMU game, when we score once against KState, and when we get trounced in our home opener by an FCS school.  Those are definitely "in our control."  The rankings reflect the shittiness of Jeff Mullen's existence.  You control his employment, too.

TAKE OWNERSHIP OF THIS MESS.

Reading that quote in the article really angered me. What HC of a D1 team in ANY sport would say "we have no control" over how our team is ranked based on performance? That's your exact ******* job description!!

Lambert embodies the attitude of Judy Rose.

So he is also more concerned about volleyball and WBB than football?
