Is there a way we can push her into retiring with some perceived dignity?  She would be more inclined to go alone with it, plus it would help from a Public Relations point of view.

She knows the PR nightmare of a school firing a female AD....she's not going anywhere until she wants to and is ready.

She has the school by the short & curly's.

Title IX in the fullest effect.

I don't think they would face any repucussions from firing her outside of donors and the university community (remember we are the hard core fans, most people don't realize all the details).

She has been here far too long and had far too poor of a record for their to be any political blowback.

It's not like she was given the job and then sent packing without giving her a chance. She has been in charge for over 20 years!!

How many big donors do not contribute to the school because of the current AD.  It is not about what we may lose, but what we are losing.

PR nightmare???  That implies that the general public is following this situation and cares about 49ers athletics. Forget the fact that her removal would be performance based and completely justified, our athletics program is practically unknown outside of the current students and some of the alumni base...no one else cares!  Who do you really think is going to make a PR issue out of the move?

Not sure how long you've been around...but we liked the publicity of hiring one of the first female AD's in NCAA history.

But you have been living under a rock for the last 10 years of extreme political correctness if you don't think we want to stay as far away from the stigma of being one of the first to FIRE a female AD.

In this day and time.

That concern is real.

Yep.  And even though the O loves to ignore us, they would probably make a stink over this.

We know how we got football, but the general perception of everyone else would be that we fired the long time dedicated AD that brought us football.

This is overstated, and if itís a legit concern for anyone then theyíre a legit cuck. Revenue sports have crumbled under Rose. Keeping anyone around with her record is indefensible. If Judy was brand new and remotely mediocre that would be one thing. Her reality is something else.

I suspect weíre only leaving Judy in place because some wealthy blue hairs donít want to see her embarrassed. F them, if thatís true.

Her abysmal performance in coaching hires and revenue sports over the last decade has warranted firing.  And ANY male AD would have been let go after the Lutz/Major debacle.  Much less how she has mis-handled our conference re-alignment and starting football too late...and the continued inept performance of nearly every team (other than the 1 off exception each year from either golf, soccer, baseball) we put in the field or on the court over the last 15yrs.

We would have fired a min of three male AD's during the last 15yrs with the exact same performance.

There is no other AD with as poor of a resume in that position in the history of AD's.
You really think there's another reason she hasn't been let go?

Perhaps we should appeal to Ken Rose and see if he can talk her into focusing on their retirement.

The problem is that Phil had his hands in almost everything since he's been here, especially the Lutz/ Major deals.  He's not going to fire himself, or Judy for that matter.

True, and the scary thing is the decisions to get rid of Lutz and extend Major had very little to do with coaching results.

Phil and Judy both need to go.

Watching Wheel of Fortune tonight and one of the contestants is the Director of Athletic Media from UNC Charlotte. Pat was like "Charlotte is a school."

This is another reason why Judy needs to go!

But if we fire Judy, who is going to spend a national pregame football show talking about volleyball?   :)) :p
CHP sold out.  I declare Nick McEntyre our Chancellor-In-Exile!

Are we drumming up some noise about the banner this weekend? It would be great if the papers got a hold of it. After the fact of course! Regardless, the discussion needs to be started other than this message board!
