One of the scouts said he had worked his way up from late rounds to mid draft.  It's so awesome to see our helmet out there and hear the guys talking about us. I can't wait to buy a Larry jersey!

yeah, that was Kevin Wiedl and then the announcers on ESPNU commenting.  They were talking about wideouts and DBs and then asked was there anyone else that has caught your eye.  That's when he referenced Larry O and specifically mentioned his wide stance and power coming off the ball.  Said he belongs here and is improving his stock.  Good to hear.

Has Larry received any coverage at all from the Observer?  I've seen articles about other players in the senior bowl in the CHARLOTTE O but I may have missed an article for Larry?

You mean the same newspaper writing about how the Warriors beating the Hornets the other night was a "good thing" because all of Steph's teams won while he was here?

I would love to see the Panthers, Hornets, and Niners blackball these clowns.

Didn't get much time on the field. Didn't really do much that was good or bad.

Agree but it was awesome to see the 49ers football helmet beside Michigan, Alabama and Clemson helmets.

.  Actually he played a ton, but didn't do anything super note worthy. The teams were subbing liberally. Like every play or two, but Larry started both halves for his squad.

I watched the first half intently, but played the guitar during the second half. I easily could've missed minor things.

This is pretty much my take on what I saw. Nice to see he started both halves. Also cool to see our helmet among the other "big schools" on national TV (NFL network). 😁

He has jumped over the past week.  He had a great week of practice at the Senior Bowl.  Mike Mayock said late 1st early second round.  I would take that as second or third round..I don't like to be disappointed.  A lot will be determined at the combine.  Awesome to have a player invited.

Many lists have in as a top 5 DT in the draft.  Probably depends on if there is a run on the position.

CBS previously had Larry as about the #134 rated prospect, which projected to early 5th round.

They have him at #87 now (late 3rd round), and the 10th rated DT in the draft:

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospectrankings/2017/DT

SI also has him as the 10th best DT:

http://www.si.com/2017-nfl-draft-rankings-defensive-tackles

This guy has him rated #78 overall (mid 3rd round), and the #8 interior DL:

http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=124591&draftyear=2017&genpos=DT

This site still has him as a 5th round grade:

http://www.drafttek.com/Top-100-NFL-Draft-Prospects-2017-Page-2.asp

I cant seem to find these guys 2017 rankings, but they liked him a lot:

Charlotte’s Larry Ogunjobi has caught our eye with strong play against the run the last two years and

Not all sites agree. There is no mention of him anywhere on Bleacher Report's big board/lists - its like he doesn't exist.

He didn't play badly at all in the Senior Bowl, but he didn't make a splash. Think he was more successful in the week long workouts in generating hype than the actual game - I think that speaks to his work ethic, but GMs also want to see game time production. Taking off my green glasses and enormous fandom of Larry, I think he is currently a 3rd-5th round prospect unless the combine moves his stock up. I don't think the workouts will (I expect him to do fine, but not blow anyone away), but maybe somewhere along the way, talking to GMs will increase his appeal. I forget exactly how that process goes.

What I will say is that I am enormously proud of him. I also hope that guys like Phillips and Covington get camp invites. The more, the merrier. Was watching the Pro Bowl tonight, and UAB's RB (selected 5th round out of Indiana after he had to transfer there after they killed the team) made it and looked really good. Not to get ahead of ourselves, but all of these little milestones are a lot of fun. I'm gonna enjoy watching Larry's story play out. And for a change, I think I may actually watch the Draft this year; between him and wanting Dave Gettleman to fix the Panthers, I have reasons.

Anyway, Go Larry!. Go Niners!

By the way, probably due to his size and agility, this is the position most scouts project for him:

I suggest we all drink heavily while watching the draft, and if Larry is picked in the first two rounds we road trip and set fire to Boone. If he isn't we road trip and set fire to Davidson.  Who's with me?

Davidson is on the way to Boone so why not set fire to it in either scenario?
