Looks like Hunter Tyson is going to visit Michigan. I'm thinking he's HM bound.

Another talented in-state (High Point) big man goes to the middle of nowhere to play hoops.

Shame.

Does seem that way! Been reading up on Washington and hoops runs in the family. Father Duane, Sr. played at Middle Tennessee and in the pros - briefly in NBA and mostly overseas - and uncle Derek Fisher had a long NBA csreer as both a player and a coach.

Looks like Washington has gotten quite a bit of attention from both Michigan and Michigan State but so far no offer from either one.

Dayton offered Duane Washington yesterday.

Price was in to watch 2018 PG Jr Clay from Chattanooga Elite. Watch his Junior film, looks like he excels in pick n' roll situations.

http://www.hoopseen.com/news/general/201704/carolina-prospects-shine-over-weekend

Nate Hinton (pictured above)- 2018 combo guard of Team Loaded is a true stat sheet stuffer he can impact the game in multiple ways. This kid uses his height well finishing over defenders his pull up game is also very polished. With Gaston Day this past season Hinton got buckets and committed himself to defense.

Scoring is just the tip of the iceberg Hinton is also a good passer and rebounds the basketball really well. Effort is never a question he lays it all out every contest on both ends, defensively Hinton wreaks havoc with long arms and quick hands steals are a given.  As of now Creighton, Charlotte, and Winthrop, are among his six offers expect that list to double as he gears up for a strong National travel season in the Adidas Gauntlet.
Per Verbal Commits, Hinton has been offered by Indiana, Penn State, UMass, VCU, VT, and Wichita State.

Also, Washington picked up an offer from Cincinnati.

Happened yesterday.

Like Hinton, Washington's stock has risen recently, with offers from Butler, Cincy, Mizzou, SMU, and UNLV, among others. And, of course, Clemson!

Per Verbal Commits, Clemson has also offered Niner target Jaelin Llewellyn.
No surprise as Clemson has offered Aaron Nesmith.

More on Bigelow:

Turns Out in Game 1
Team Felton Elite (NC) –
Phenom’s Southern Jam

We hadn’t heard much from Bigelow throughout July, which is crazy. He is a deft scorer with great size from the shooting guard position. Bigelow came out of the games to score 26 points on only 3 misses, it was an incredibly efficient scoring barrage, but one that seemed to be more of the norm throughout the weekend. Because of his play at this one event Charlotte, Norfolk St, Radford, Gardner Webb, NC A&T and UT Chattanooga all offered, we expect many more to come.

Phenomhoopreport.com: July’s Top Performances - Shooting Guards

In addition, see that a couple of NC hoopsters have committed to C-USA  schools - 6-5 SG Trey Murphy III (Cary Academy in Cary) to Rice and 6-8 C Chukwuebuka "Jude" Akabueze (Prominence Academy in Durham) to UAB. Former a 45% 3-point shooter and latter a 3-star prospect. Not sure if either were on our radar.

In addition to Trey McGowens, we offered Flo Thamba (6'11) and Robert Braswell (6'9) of Team United as well.

We've also reached out to Aaron Nesmith, 6'6 wing and his TMP Elite teammate 6'9 Jake Lanford.

Latest on Nesmith makes it sound like the Niners no longer in the mix.

Wertz picks up offer from Temple.

Also, found this tidbit about Ian Steere while researching 2021 PG Carter Whitt of Trinity Academy in Raleigh.
Quote
Before the first live period began Steere only had offers from the likes of Hampton, High Point, North Florida, and UNC-Charlotte among a few others. Now he has picked up offers from the likes Arkansas, Clemson, Florida State, Georgia, Kansas, Missouri, Pittsburgh, and UConn and it doesn't look like he will be slowing down any time soon.
