Kentucky is a go per Coach Lambert at the recent golf function, you can remove the asterisks by it.

UK game 're-confirmed' in today's observer article.

Quote
Lambert reconfirmed that the 49ers have a game at Kentucky scheduled in 2015, although as the home team the Wildcats have yet to officially announce it.

Is this still looking good? I see that Tennessee is playing West Virginia in 2018 here in Charlotte, and hope that game didn't get confused with one versus us.

A little blurb in the Observer:

Lambert said the 49ers are hoping to schedule a home-and-home series with East Carolina, as well as with other teams in the American Athletic Conference.

Heck yeah. It would be perfect for homecoming. They tour almost constantly, so it would be tough to schedule.

Cincy, Memphis, Houston, USF would all be fun to rekindle the old C-USA hoops days.

Touchee - I remember the start, just not the end.  Also I remember the McDonald's parking lot.  I do not miss the McDonald's parking lot.

They set it up with us as an FCS program, didn't want to restructure once we became FBS.

Tennessee and App play in 2016

The Vols have 1 open date in 2017 and then they play West Virginia at BoA in 2018.

Hate to be a negative nancy but I'm not going to get excited about any P5 school on the schedule until I actually see it, there have been a lot of "we are playing team X" over the years for the game to not actually be there once the schedule comes out...
