Planets aligning? Aside from speculation about Judy's age, it kinda feels like it.

A clean handoff would be so great, provided this guy is what we think it is.

Arizona...could see that.  But man, it would be awesome to see him as Charlotte's new AD.

Morrison (63) is only 2-3 years younger than Judy.  I wonder if that works against him as he looks for jobs.  He has to have more than enough money at this point, so how long does he want to work?  I would think it would take at least a year just to get on your feet in an AD job, maybe more since everything runs on an annual cycle.  Obviously he has AD experience and will hit the ground running, but you have to learn the school, programs, and the community.  I do not know that you leave the Panthers to make Charlotte your final act in your career, but I am okay if he does.  He does know the community and all the big players in town and that would shorten the ramp up time.
Hey 49er undergrads, you are bigger than UNC-CH.  Start acting like it!

I'd be on the phone to make a donation within 30 minutes of the announcement if he were our new AD. Then I'd realize it's lunch time so nobody's there and go online. Then I wouldn't be able to figure out the online donation portal and call again. Then nobody would answer so I'd give up. But I'd be excited.

This is painfully accurate.

Clt obviously means 2000 and earlier.
Even if our director doesn't do chat rooms, she should hire someone to drag the dept into this century. What is really weird is that the University itself has ongoing research into how to amalgamate and utilize data. I suppose this is the ultimate example of one part of the University not communicating with the other parts.   Thanks, Dubois!
