Surprises me that LeMay was able to keep the #1 RB spot.  Lambert said he had a great offseason earlier but I fully expected Washington to surpass him by the first game.  I suspect they will probably both see about half of the carries.

The other surprise to me is Foggie at OLB.  To go from WR to OLB is a big change.

The kicker spot must still be a battle.

Let's not forget that the 2-deep can be used as motivation for guys too...

LeMay was a ESPN 300 Jr prospect. Washington got more publicity coming in as a freshman but both are high quality RBs.

And both will carry the ball frequently.

Not worried about RB, both can play.

That Dline group is something.  Hardy is a RS Soph who has never played in a game.  Fain had 2 assisted tackles last year in 5 games...Duncan was productive 2 years ago, but didn't get on the field as much last year.  As of now, Carroll, who started 11 games for us last year and is a RS Senior is apparently behind them.

Don't understand why you wouldn't include a link.

If number 77 is starting, I'm pessimistic.

Glad I found the actual doc. There were other surprises. Jalen Allen (how it's spelled there) is the backup LG. He wasn't even on the roster before. Eason is backing up Drake at Center. Jamar Winston is #2 RT. And K says OR MacAuley.

Less surprising but good to see is Barden is our #2.

Our Dline looks terrible on paper. I am trying to be optimistic, but that DLine looks as bad or worse than our FCS teams. I'm terrified.

Maybe I'm off the mark, but Allen's "tape" looked really good. I would not be surprised to see him use this as motivation to win that spot.

Sorry if my post wasn't up to your standards haha. I posted in this thread a week ago that Jalen Allen had been added to the roster. I expected him to be on the two deep along with Eason. Winston had been working with the #2 offense all of camp so I didn't see that as a surprise. As far as kicker goes I would imagine Vansickle will get the first crack but will probably be on a short leash if he doesn't do well.

I'm curious what Lamberts definition of a shot leash is.. Just watching PAT's under this staff is enough to make a person drink.

Lambert on the coaches show:

O line could be our best ever

Turns out Nigel Macaulay will get the first shot at kicker not Vansickle.

Also Lemay is listed as the starter but sounded like Washington is #1

I expect us to run so much that we will need 2 "starters" at RB. Non issue to me. Save wear and tear by splitting the load.

With those JUCO adds the OL should be solid. Not 100% sure on the OT depth, but the rest looks good
