Thought last season's carousel got started early when Hawaii parted ways with Gib Arnold in October but Bo Ryan's announcement of his retirement at the conclusion of the 2015-16 season tops that! Will mark the end of a 32 year collegiate head coaching career spent entirely within the University of Wisconsin system - UW Platteville (1984-99), UW Milwaukee (1999-2001), and UW Madison (2001-16). Also served as an assistant for the Badgers (1976-84).

clt says Ryan ran a clean program and developed players, not just relying on mcd aa types.

Well, Ryan didn't make it to the end of the season.  Associate head coach Greg Gard takes over as interim in Madison.

Maryland Baltimore County gets the carousel turning with the termination of 4+ year coach Aki Thomas. UMBC Retrievers were 7-25 this season following loss to Stony Brook in the American East tourney.

Bruiser Flint is one of my favorite coaches....... because after he was fired at UMASS, Eddie Basden was free to transfer to Charlotte.

Could be as much related to Mox's health (cardiac arrest and several strokes last spring) as overall team performance.

Interim tag removed and Gard given 5 year deal.

Rex Walters out after 8 seasons at San Francisco.  He was head coach at FAU prior to taking over the Dons.

In addition to the aforementioned Kerry Keating of Santa Clara, he is joined by Ron Verling of Pacific as West Coast Conference coaches getting their pink slips.

Damn, Conroy just lost his cousin Pat, and now his job.  Cold Tulane, cold.  It isn't as if they are ever going to win anything anyway.

I was aware of both Conroys but did not know they were related.  Crazy.

Damon Stoudamire is the new HC at Pacific.  In other Memphis news, UTSA is reportedly after their HC, Josh Pastner:  http://www.espn929.com/pages/22572785.php

Will Pacific now require their coaches to be drug tested along with the team?

UW Milwaukee has fired Rob Jeter after 11 seasons and an overall record of 185-170 (FWIW, one victory short of the all-time wins total by a UWM coach).  Panthers were 20-13 this season, losing in the Horizon tourney to eventual league champion Green Bay.

And fellow Horizon member Wright State has parted ways with 6 year coach Billy Donlon, who also had a 20 win season (22-13).  Hmm...

WKU's coach Ray Harper has resigned. He was 89-64 in 5 seasons at the school with 2 conference tournament titles, and two NCAA tournament titles in 2012 and 2013.
