Well, first half is over

Down only 4 and haven't made a field goal in the last 9 minutes of play.  Maybe they're trying too hard and the shots aren't falling?  Seems like every shot is in-and-out.  Not like they are missing badly.

Had a chance, actually 2: if we had gotten that rebound with a 1 point lead instead of uab getting it for a dunk, going back up 1. Then we had the last shot that could have won it. I'm just sadly numb and lost for real hope moving forward into the next year. Some relief it's over, though. Following our teams chews me up.

This whole season we played with an incomplete roster with no big men being the missing piece. Add some bigs to this roster in the off season and I have hope going into 2017-2018. Jon Davis and the freshmen this season are the bright spots.

The freshmen were bright spots? QJ had a few games where he played well and showed potential, but he was way behind where Dorn, Woods, Scott, Davis, and White were as freshmen. Garvin did basically nothing. Maybe he'll be better playing as a 3 or stretch 4 when we get real big men, but he has a lot of room to improve.

Garvin had more fouls than made baskets. He has a long way to go.

If we can maintain some stability by March 2019 we'll have a veteran team with seniors Davis & White with Garvin & QJ as juniors. Add some serviceable big men Juco or transfer players and we should be completing for a conference title.

I think  the way White came on the last 5 games was a positive moving forward.  Davis imo is the best player in Cusa. Add a few serviceable bigs and we can compete for conference title.
