Here's a funny story.

My 65 year old mother just called me.  She saw the score of the football game and spent the last 20min asking me why our football team is so bad.  Then, she asked if the basketball team was still bad.  Then she asked who was running the athletic dept.

When I told her it's the same AD they've had for the last decade...she said why in the world would the alumni put up with that and why are they not demanding a change??

We have never discussed this before.

She literally spent the last 5-10min ranting and raving that our alumni shouldn't stand for this and should be running off anyone that has put our biggest sports in the position they are in now and for this long.

Yes...without any prompting or any prior conversations my mother cannot understand why Judy is still employed.  She gets it....and by that, I mean, she doesn't get it (why Judy is allowed to still be around).  Like all of us.

I hung up and laughed.  It is beyond funny....almost surreal...that we are where we are.

When it is so bad that my 65yr old mother (who doesn't have a care in the world for Charlotte athletics) gets fired up about it....we have reached an unprecedented level of dysfunction!!

clt says #fakenews

She never mentioned the student athlete experience

I have 4 FSL's...Section 103...second row from the top right on the aisle at around the 15yd line.

Ready to transfer to someone with a more positive outlook on attending future games than I currently have.

Paid $1000 per seat for seat licenses ($4000).

I will transfer all 4 of them for $2500...or feel free to PM me an offer.

TRLeader, KTown and BobandEd.....OUT

Man, no offense, but you must be more out of touch than Judy if you think someone is going to pay money for these.

I actually agree with you...but just in case there's a family out there considering it for whatever reason (maybe has a kid playing or something), I wanted to put it out there.  I am at peace with not renewing at all if it comes to that.  But until then, I figured I'd at least see if anyone is interested.  If someone is interersted...they are good FSL seats for a BIG discount over what you will pay for FSL seats from the ticket office.

Problem:  AD won't give you any reward for having an FSL.  You can walk up to the stadium and get in for less than what someone who paid for an FSL did.  Ass backwards thinking.  So pissed at our AD.

Our QB situation is terrible.

Klugh has thrown 14 TD's this season.  5 of those or 36% was INT's for the other team.  When Klugh has thrown an interception this season, 38% of the time they were returned for touchdowns.

Awesome stats!!

The only thing more depressing than that...is we obviously do not have any better option on the bench to put on the field!

or lack the ability to develop other options.

Anybody notice last weeks postgame presser?

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=We-CGGAEwJ8

For the first time that I can recall, Lambert was clearly mad and seemed to get irritated with some of the mediaís questions . I think heís finally starting to feel some heat.

Unfortunately he will still be our coach next year, but hopefully there will be an overhaul on the offensive coaching staff. WE NEED A NEW OFFENSIVE SCHEME BAD!

Why do you say he will be coach next year?

Because Judy would never buyout the last 2 years of his contract. That $1.2 million could go a long way toward our womenís golf team...

Bingo!  Have heard it from several connected folks that we do not have enough people giving to buy him out.  Don't shoot the messenger.  While I still give, I see that fund raising issue as 90 percent the AD's fault.  10 percent our disengaged alumni base.

I would expect that if she wants to let him go she has to go to some big donors to buy him out.  We don't have enough people giving to have coffers built up, but a few donors could easily cover the buy if she asked and they agreed.

Now we can discuss if that is something that she would actually do.

I expect him back next year with some staff changes honestly.
no coach worth their salary will join our staff.  Lambert has 2 years left on his contract with a virtual guarantee he isn't retained.

Judging from today's performance, maybe Lambert has quit..........already.
