i dont know what lebo is telling these kids but it looks like he is going to increase the talent at ecu just based on the kids he has visiting. that or this kid just wanted to visit because it is close to home.

ECU has had some talent roll through there over the past few years, their problem has always been keeping them at ECU.

2012 F Montrezl Harrell's list: Charlotte, NC State, Wake Forest, S Carolina, V Tech, Xavier, Miami, Virginia, ECU and Clemson.

Harrell is a big time PF, explosive athlete that will dunk any and everything around the basket.

Montrezl Harrell | 6-6 | SF/PF | Edgecombe Magnet HS (NC) | 2012
Harrell was arguably the top 2012 kid that we saw at Elite80 and   certainly played harder than any of his peers in that class. The long   forward had a game that extended well above the rim, regardless of who   he was pegged against. He showed off the ability to put the ball on the   floor from the wing, finish at the cup with either hand, and clean the   glass. Harrell still isnít a small forward completely and will have to   work on his J to get there, but is surely one of the bright stars in   North Carolinaís class of 2012.

Thats a nice list, we better do real well this year if we want a decent shot at him.

Wow.  Such active hands on defense in the passing lanes, good vision, good reaction time, athletic and decently fast for his size.  Some of those dunks were thunderous.  This guy would be a great land.

Would be a huge land, however, I'm not sure if we are actively involved. Harrell is a stud.

From the ratings, I assume he is a very good prospect. He does look a little short to be a power forward, despite this being his clear skill set as far as I can tell. Does he transition to sf, or play as an undersized power forward? Maybe he overcomes the height disadvantage with his athleticism.

I'd take him in a heart beat at 6'7. Great wingspan and athleticism to make up for it.

VT is his leader, we are not in the running.

Per Rivals
Quote
With all that, Tech now is the leader for the four-star prospect.
"They are pretty high, I'll probably say in order it's Virginia Tech, Miami, Wake Forest, Clemson, South Carolina and Xavier," he said. "Virginia Tech leads cause by me going down there, looking at the whole campus and style of play it feels like a place I could fit in and play."

Harrell maintains he has no intention of making a decision in the near future, but also noted no other visits are on tap either.

Apparently he will likely decommit from VA Tech now that Greenberg is out.  I'm not sure how hard we recruited him originally, but I hope Major is all over him now.  Harrell is a beast of an athlete and would produce immediately here.
