I think everything will be fine. FSL payments are due by June 30th 2012 I believe, and according to the web site http://alumni.uncc.edu/get-involved/49er-athletics "your initial seat location will be determined by your Charlotte 49ers Athletic Foundation rank on June 30, 2013." So since there fiscal year is July 1 - June 30th. It sounds to me like next years rank will determine seating priority so if someone wanted to boost there seating they would need to donate a large sum between July 1st 2012 and June 30th 2013.
also there was some post about logging in and checking your current rank. Can someone post a link to that web page for me. I did some surfing looking for it but was unable to locate it.
thank you. And for my last question of the day and the end of my tread jacking now that I have created an account how do I get my past donations linked to the account so that I can view my status online?
I'm not TOO concerned about my seats, but I would like to be as close to the 50 yard line as possible. Chances are I will be stumbling to my seats a little late every game anyways.

I don't want the AD making an assumption about where I would like to sit.

My boss is a big ECU supporter, and he recently had the chance to move closer to the 50 and chose not to at Dowdy-Fickland. He likes being on the side near one end zone or the other so he's closer to the action on scoring plays for that end zone. I'm with you though, put me as close as you can to the 50. Also, I want to be in the first couple of rows of the upper deck near the 50 when the stadium is expanded. It's the best place to watch a football game from.
The ranking will be based on next year. That way all of the FSL payments which are due by June 30 will be in the system and the big payments wont advantage the late buyer over the early buyer. You basically will be ranked by historical cumulative giving, with some of the other bonus point for consecutive giving and season ticket purchases.
C-Pip's right. About EVERYTHING.
