Charlotte 49ers r-so. wide receiver Victor Tucker pulled in Chris Reynolds 34-yard touchdown pass with 18 seconds left to give Charlotte a dramatic, 39-38, come-from-behind win over North Texas, Saturday at Jerry Richardson Stadium.
Charlotte battled through a tight first half before homestanding WKU (5-2; 4-0) pulled away in the second to remain unbeaten in league play, 30-14, Saturday night. The game ends a two game road trip for the 49ers (2-5; 0-3)
Charlotte standout running back Benny LeMay put up a career-best 234 yards from scrimmage, including his fourth 100-yard rushing game of the year, but FIU was able to score seven touchdowns to pull past the 49ers, 48-23.
